This box displays the station info, often including the station name, website, and method to make requests(This information varies by station). This will now also display the information on the currently playing MP3. It also displays the time connected to a station.
Play/Pause:
While a stream is playing, this will pause. When it is unpaused, there may be a hiccup in the music, as it shifts abruptly to a new point in the stream.
Stop:
This button disconnects from the current station.
Record Toggle:
This button begins recording the current stream. Use it to save streams. When the green indicator is lit, AMP Radio is recording. See the "Recording" section for more information.
Recent Stations:
Clicking this arrow brings up a menu, listing the addresses of the last ten stations visited.
Tracker Toggle:
This button toggles the tracker window on and off. See the "Using the Tracker" section for full information on the tracker.
Treble:
This knob will adjust the treble. In the default setting, with realistic knobs on, click the desired position to move the knob, or click and drag in a circular motion, as if you were rotating a real knob. When realistic knobs are off, click and hold on the knob, moving the mouse upwards(north) to increase this value, and downwards(south) to decrease it.
Bass:
This knob will adjust the bass. In the default setting, with realistic knobs on, click the desired position to move the knob, or click and drag in a circular motion, as if you were rotating a real knob. When realistic knobs are off, click and hold on the knob, moving the mouse upwards(north) to increase this value, and downwards(south) to decrease it.
Volume:
This knob will adjust the volume. In the default setting, with realistic knobs on, click the desired position to move the knob, or click and drag in a circular motion, as if you were rotating a real knob. When realistic knobs are off, click and hold on the knob, moving the mouse upwards(north) to increase this value, and downwards(south) to decrease it.
Mute:
This button will mute and unmute the volume. When the red indicator is lit, AMP Radio is muted.
Streaming Methods
AMP Radio offers two ways to stream music. First, AMP Radio plays Internet Streaming Audio, through the Shoutcast/Icecast protocols. Second, AMP Radio can remotely open MP3 files stored on another server.

AMP Radio provides the perfect method to listen to internet radio stations in the form of Shoutcast and Icecast. Open the tracker to find a great station and double click it. Alternately, select the "Open URL" menu option or press (Command-L) to type in a station's address, then hit "Connect".(Please note, the default port in AMP Radio is 80 to allow http files to be opened. Shoutcast's default port is 8000. When entering a station, remember to add the port, as seen above).
Remote Files
AMP Radio can also play remote files over the Internet. Listen to MP3 files stored on a server at home or elsewhere, just as if they were on the desktop. Simply open the "Open URL" window as described above, type the address of the file, and hit "Connect".
